Counseling for Parents
Because Parenting Doesn't Come With a Manual—Especially When It's Hard
You love your child deeply—but some days, parenting feels like walking a tightrope. Maybe you're constantly second-guessing yourself, carrying the weight of guilt, frustration, or exhaustion. Or perhaps your child’s behaviors are triggering something deeper in you—old wounds, fears, or patterns you can’t quite name.
You’re not alone. And you don’t have to figure it out alone.
What Counseling Can Offer You
Counseling provides a safe, supportive space to care for you—the parent behind the routines, decisions, and daily challenges. It’s a place to breathe, reflect, and begin healing from the inside out.
Counseling offers a chance to reflect on your own childhood and uncover the patterns and triggers that influence how you show up as a parent. We’ll work through emotions like anger, anxiety, guilt, or burnout that often arise in the day-to-day challenges of raising children. You’ll gain tools to co-regulate with your child, even during tough moments, and begin to parent from a place of calm connection rather than reactivity. This process also helps you reconnect with your values, your voice, and your identity outside of parenting—so you can lead your family with more clarity, resilience, and confidence. This isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about nurturing the parts of you that need care—so you can show up for your child in the way you long to.
Why It Matters
When we tend to our own emotional health, we show up differently in our homes. Our kids don’t need perfect parents—they need regulated ones. Parents who are anchored, aware, and willing to grow.
Counseling is one of the most powerful gifts you can give your family.
My Approach
As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and TBRI®-certified practitioner, I bring a trauma-informed, attachment-focused lens to all my work. I offer a gentle, non-judgmental environment where you can show up just as you are—messy, curious, frustrated, hopeful—and be met with compassion and clarity.
This is your space. Whether we work together short-term or over time, your story, your healing, and your voice matter here.
